Tanzanian Vice President Ali Mohamed Shein met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here on Wednesday.

New Delhi, Mar.19 : Tanzanian Vice President Ali Mohamed Shein met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here on Wednesday.

Shein who is on an eight-day visit to India, is here to take part in an India-Africa Project Partnership Conclave, where he will deliver a special address on "India-Africa Strengthening Partnership".

A joint initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry and India's Foreign Ministry, the conclaveill focus on four main areas of technology, agriculture, human resources and energy.

The conclave will provide a platform for Indian investors to interact with businessmen and delegates from over 35 African countries.

Besides this, the conclave is also expected to discuss 131 projects worth 10 billion dollars.

Shein also met with his Indian counterpart Hamid Ansari.

He will also visit Bangalore and Mumbai before concluding his visit to India.
