Kashmiri Pandits protest against JKLF leader Yasin Malik

The Kashmiri Pandits today protested against Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik and demanded immediate action against the separatist leader.

New Delhi, Mar 15 : The Kashmiri Pandits today protested against Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik and demanded immediate action against the separatist leader.

The protesters gathered outside the hotel where Yasin Malik has come to attend a conclave organised by a media group.

"We want to tell the Central Government that it should take action against Yasin Malik. Why it is always Kashmiri Pandits who have to face violence? Why has Yasin Malik been given so much freedom," said Aditya Raj Kaul, a Kashmiri Pandit.

"Why are there so many cases against him. We have made so many appeals, we have the RTI and still no action is being taken by the government," he complained.

The Kashmiris Hindus alleged that the JKLF leader is responsible for the miseries of these people who are living in exile for over a decade.

According to an estimate, over 250,000 Hindus had migrated from Jammu and Kashmir to secure homes across the country.

The protesters also expressed their anger over the invitation extended to the JKLF leader to address the conclave.
