Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Mr Albert Arnold (Al) Gore, Jr, today released two books Know Climate Change and 101 Q and A on Climate Change from 'Save Planet Earth Series', a six-book series jointly published by TERI Press and the JSW Foundation, at the India Habitat Centre.
Also present during the event were Dr R K Pachauri, Director-General, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), and Chairman, IPCC, along with Ms Sangita Jindal, Chairperson, JSW Foundation, who has been instrumental in the publishing of 'Save Planet Earth Series' books. Terrapin, the children's imprint of TERI Press has published these books with the support of JSW Foundation. Lucid and age-appropriate, the text of each book is reviewed by a TERI expert in the field of environment. The theme of all these books is woven around TERI's mandate of energy, environment, and sustainable development.
