Four short films produced by NHRC through DAVP empanelled producers and in collaboration with UNICEF will be telecast in the prime slot of National Network of Doordarshan from Sunday (March 16) onwards.
New Delhi, Mar.14 : Four short films produced by NHRC through DAVP empanelled producers and in collaboration with UNICEF will be telecast in the prime slot of National Network of Doordarshan from Sunday (March 16) onwards.
The films have been produced both in Hindi and English. The Hindi version of the films will be telecast at 9:30 a.m every Sunday from March 16, 2008 (March 23, March 30 and April 6, will be the dates for the three other films).
The first film entitled Janam ka Adhikar will be on Female Foeticide and Gender Imbalance, the second film Zindagi Ek Bar Phir on HIV-AIDS, the third film entitled Mere Hisse Ki Dhoop will be on Manual Scavenging, while the fourth film Bikte Bachche-Hamare Bachche will be on Trafficking in Women and Children.
NHRC had provided all the background support, including vetting the scripts, research and development support, photographic material and expert advice, for the production of the films.
