Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil will review the security arrangements in Delhi Metro today.
New Delhi, June 4 : Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil will review the security arrangements in Delhi Metro today.
The Minister will visit some metro stations to take stock of the security arrangements in the mass rapid transport system.
He is expected to hold talks with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials at Delhi Metro's Operation Control Centre located at Shastri Park station.
Patil will be accompanied by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Chairman-cum-Managing Director E Sreedharan, Director General of CISF R K Das and other senior officials.
His visit comes a day after he took a close look at its security requirements at the Delhi Metro so that the model could be replicated in different parts of the country.
