Amethi, June 3 : Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that the electoral loss in Karnataka was a setback for Congress.
Speaking at the Rajiv Gandhi cricket tournament here, "We could have won the elections, if the party had done its work properly."
Rahul's sister Priyanka Vadra and brother-in-law Robert Vadra also attended the match.
Earlier, Rahul met family members of victims who had lost their lives in a hailstorm on May 16. He listened to the problems of the injured and also offered financial help to them.
Eighty-nine people were killed in the high-velocity thunderstorm that ripped across Uttar Pradesh on May 16.
