Mumbai, June 29 : Hundreds of children took part in a marathon organised in memory of late Bollywood actor Sunil Dutt in Mumbai today.
Priya Dutt, Member of Parliament and daughter of Sunil Dutt, flagged off the first Sunil Dutt memorial road race.
More than 3000 boys and girls in the age group 10 to 18 years participated in the race.
Priya said that the main motive behind organising the race was to promote sports in the country.
She added that her father was a sports enthusiast and therefore this would be a perfect tribute to him.
Sunil Dutt, who was Sports and Youth Affairs Minister in Manmohan Singh's cabinet, died on May 25, 2005 after a brief illness.
