Patna, June 26 : Students went on a rampage here today alleging that the recently conducted medical entrance examinations were fraudulent.
The students were anguished over recently declared BCECE (Bihar Combinedntrance Competitive Examination) results and called for statewide shutdown.
Shouting slogans against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the protesting students took out a rally, ransacked vehicles and forcibly closed shops.
They claimed that around 190 students of one college had been selected after the exam, which was abnormal by any academic standards.
They demanded the cancellation of the examination and the holding of a fresh one.
The students threatened to step-up their protest if no decision was taken.
