Mumbai, June 18 : Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray has called for the formation of Hindu suicide squads to combat terrorism.
In the editorial of Shiv Sena's mouthpiece 'Saamna'Thackeray said, "The threat of Islamic terror in India is rising. It is time to counter the same with Hindu terror. Hindu suicide squads should be readied to ensure existence of Hindu society."
The article adds, "When I heard of Hindu's making bombs, I was happy but the fact that they used them to injure Hindus made me feel ashamed of them."
Bal Thackeray was commenting on Thane incident in which a Hindu group was alleged to be behind the blasts.
Thackeray has made similar statements several times.
