Fourth round of talks between the State Government and top Gujjar leader Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla ended in Jaipur a shortwhile ago on a positive note.Addressing a joint press conference, leader of the Government delegation, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP, Ramdas Agarwal said, the talks are moving towards a solution of the issue and the last round of talks will be held on Tuesday.

Jaipur, June 16 : Fourth round of talks between the State Government and top Gujjar leader Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla ended in Jaipur a shortwhile ago on a positive note.Addressing a joint press conference, leader of the Government delegation, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP, Ramdas Agarwal said, the talks are moving towards a solution of the issue and the last round of talks will be held on Tuesday.

The leader of the Gujjar delegation, Col. Bainsla also confirmed that the talks are moving towards a positive outcome. He expressed the hope that tomorrow's talks will be decisive.

Although it is not clear that whether government has agreed to recommend Gujjars in Scheduled Tribe (ST) quota or Gujjars have softened their demands.

But it is being assumed that Government is somewhere going to compromise on this issue as the reactions from community have started coming in. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is also likely to hold final day talks with Gujjars on Tuesday.

Although in this meet nothing officially concrete came out but state government and Gujjar leaders have shown their optimistic attitude about the dead lock.

Bainsla led a 30-member delegation of his outfit, Gurjar Arakshan Sangharsh Samiti, to the talks.

The delegation included his Samiti deputy Captain (retd.) Hari Prasad.

The Rajasthan government team, led by BJP MP and party treasurer Ramdas Agarwal, included four state ministers--L N Dave, S M Jat, Nathu Singh Gujjar and Kalu Lal Gujjar.

Before joining the talks in Jaipur today, Bainsla met the 22-member team of his organization and held consultations with them.

The talks between the Rajasthan government and agitating Gujjar leaders have reached a decisive phase.

The agitating Gujjars are demanding schedule tribe status for the community in Rajasthan.
