After the Lefts announcement of withdrawal of support to the United Progressive Alliance Government, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said here today that the Government would not go to International Atomic Energy Agency without seeking vote of confident in Parliament.

New Delhi, July 8 : After the Left's announcement of withdrawal of support to the United Progressive Alliance Government, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said here today that the Government would not go to International Atomic Energy Agency without seeking vote of confident in Parliament.

Mukherjee said though the monsoon session of Parliament will begin from August 11, and would continue till September 5, a brief session may be called for the vote of confidence.

He said government would seek vote as soon as it receives formal communication from President Pratibha Patil.

Mukherjee said that they have given the summary of the safeguards agreement to the Left parties.

The Left party this morning announced its withdrawal of support to the UPA over the Indo-US nuclear deal.
