Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be the chief guest at the 44th All-India Oriental Congress at Kurukshetra University in Haryana today.

Kurukshetra, July 28 : Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be the chief guest at the 44th All-India Oriental Congress at Kurukshetra University in Haryana today.

State Governor Dr. AR Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, along with other dignitaries, will also be present on the occasion.

A large number of renowned scholars from various parts of the country and aboard will attend the three-day deliberations of the conference.

Later, Sonia is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the museum dedicated to the First War of the Independence: 1857.
