At least 12 passengers were killed and 26 others were injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmirs Ramban District early this morning.
Ramban (J-K), July 23 : At least 12 passengers were killed and 26 others were injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban District early this morning.
According to police, the accident took place at around 4:30 a.m. near Sherdibi Banihal on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The bus, which was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu, fell into the gorge after the driver lost control of the vehicle, the police added.
Eleven people died on the spot. The injured have been rushed to a hospital in Jammu.
