Mozambique Interior Minister meets Shivraj Patil

A four-member delegation from Mozambique, led by their Interior Minister, Jose Pacheco met the Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil here last evening.

New Delhi, July 22 : A four-member delegation from Mozambique, led by their Interior Minister, Jose Pacheco met the Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil here last evening.

Ways to strengthen bilateral co-operation between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.

Both India and Mozambique have long coastlines and can learn from each other in the area of coastal security.

Patil stressed the need for all countries to join hands in the fight against terrorism. He said that nations could share information and exchange ideas for this purpose.

Union Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta was among those who attended the meeting.
