Two tourists, including a minor boy were killed and five others were injured in a grenade attack by militants at Gulmarg hill resort in Jammu and Kashmir.
Srinagar, July 20 : Two tourists, including a minor boy were killed and five others were injured in a grenade attack by militants at Gulmarg hill resort in Jammu and Kashmir.
The blast took place near Telephone Exchange around 5:30 p.m. when most of the tourists were returning to Srinagar.
The condition of two of the injured is reported to be critical.
According to reports, Inspector General of Police (north) and Deputy Commissioner Baramulla have rushed to the blast site.
All injured have been admitted to Sub District Hospital at Tangmarg.
Governor N. N. Vohra was scheduled to visit Gulmarg this morning however, his visit was cancelled due to poor visibility and bad weather. (Ani)
