Kolkata, July 19 : The former West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee Chief and senior Congress MLA Somen Mitra on Saturday left the Party.
He is launching a new party named Progressive Indira Congress.
MItra announced this in Kolkata this afternoon.
He said his party will form electoral alliance with Mamta Banerjee led Trinamool Congress to end the misrule of Left Front Government in West Bengal.
