New Delhi, July 18 : The Indian Air Force placement cell will launch its website www.iafpe.co.in on July 22 at the Air Force Auditorium.

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Fali Homi Major would inaugurate the website.

The website which has been designed by the ICICI group, would be dedicated to the Ex-Air Warriors by ICICI Bank's Joint Managing Director M. S. Kochhar.

The website would have separate log-ins for employers and job seekers.

It will have a knowledge zone with tips on attending interviews / resume writing and a host of e-learning courses offered by ICICI Bank.

In all, it will add up to efforts of the IAF in providing good second career opportunities to its Ex-Air Warriors.

In order to create maximum placements for Ex-Air Warriors, the IAF has established the IAF Placement Cell in Delhi and regional placement cells.

Various Command Headquarters IAF Placement Fairs have been conducted at Delhi and Kolkata to expand its reach to regional companies.

An overwhelming response was experienced both from the corporate world and the retired Air Warriors.

The next two placement fairs for the year are scheduled to be held in Bangalore and Pune in September and December respectively.
