The National Conference (NC), the main Opposition party in Jammu and Kashmir, will meet here today to decide its stand over the controversial Indo-US nuclear deal.

Srinagar, July 14 : The National Conference (NC), the main Opposition party in Jammu and Kashmir, will meet here today to decide its stand over the controversial Indo-US nuclear deal.

Party president Omar Abdullah last evening said that the decision in favoring or opposing the UPA government on the deal in the Lok Sabha would be decided in party's core group.

The National Conference has two members in the Lok Sabha.

During his recent visit to New Delhi, Abdullah had talks with National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and various political leaders on the deal.
