An American women tourist on Wednesday alleged that a temple priest in Pushkar has molested her.
Jaipur, Jan 9 : An American women tourist on Wednesday alleged that a temple priest in Pushkar has molested her.
The 28-year-old woman has lodged an FIR into the matter with the Pushkar police station in which she has accused the priest of indulging in eve-teasing and molestation.
The woman said that the priest had molested her while she was performing puja at Pap-mochani temple on the banks of Pushkar Lake on Tuesday, according to Circle Officer (CO) Sangram Singh.
Singh went on to say that a case of alleged eve teasing and molestation has been lodged against the priest.
He further said that the woman, who hails from Oregon in the US, had come for pilgrimage in the holy city.
The accused priest is still at large.
