Aptech gets recognition from Project Management Institute

Aptech Limited has been conferred the Global Registered Education Provider (REP) status by Project Management Institute (PMI).

New Delhi, Jan 9 : Aptech Limited has been conferred the Global Registered Education Provider (REP) status by Project Management Institute (PMI).

PMI, USA is the world's leading not-for-profit association for the project management profession.

Aptech will now be offering PMI recognised project management training and professional service to Project Management Professionals (PMP) across the globe. It plans to train 5000 PMPs during 2008.According to a CertCities.com 2006 annual reader survey, PMP credential has been ranked among the tenth hottest IT Certifications for the third consecutive year among IT professionals.

Nilesh Vani, Executive Vice President, Aptech Ltd. said: "Aptech's legacy as an educational provider will help us to provide customers with training in project management , who are looking for support from a trusted partner and recognised leader."

"Aptech is dedicated to supporting professional development and best practices in project and workforce management. We look forward to providing result-driven courses which are rigorous and comprehensive," Vani added.

Aptech will be offering the course in two modes, Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Distance Learning Mode. The course will span over five days, which will be followed by an internal assessment. On successful completion, the participant will be granted 35 PDUs required by PMI for certification on PMP.
