At least eleven people were injured when the Amritsar-Darbhanga Jan Nayak Express collided with a goods train at the Bodarwar Station on the Narkatiyaganj-Gorakhpur section early this morning.
Gorakhpur, Jan 29 : At least eleven people were injured when the Amritsar-Darbhanga Jan Nayak Express collided with a goods train at the Bodarwar Station on the Narkatiyaganj-Gorakhpur section early this morning.
According to railway officials, the injured included an assistant driver and two other staffers of the 5211 Jan Nayak Express Train. They are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.
Railway traffic was disrupted following the accident, but train services are expected to resume by this afternoon.
According to sources, prima facie dereliction of duty seems to be the cause of accident.
