A Gurgaon Sessions Court today postponed the hearing of Shweta and Rahul Mahajans divorce case till August 1.
Gurgaon, Jan 24 : A Gurgaon Sessions Court today postponed the hearing of Shweta and Rahul Mahajan's divorce case till August 1.
Shweta had filed the mutual-divorce petition last December, alleging regular physical and verbal abuse by Rahul. oday was the second hearing of the case, and Rahul has not attended either of those.
Last year, photographs of Shweta had appeared in a Mumbai tabloid showing bruises on her arm.
Rahul was not keen on divorcing Shweta, over apprehensions that it might adversely affect his political ambitions.
Shweta however, decided to take matters into her own hands, and initiated divorce proceedings.
