New Delhi, Jan 21 : Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath will address the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, tomorrow.
Nath will be addressing in several important sessions at the WEF, including the sessions entitled "The Asian Century - Fact or Fiction?" on January 22, "India's International Agenda" on January 23 "New Global Challenges" on January 24, and "Threats to the Global Trading System" and "WTO Informal Ministerial Gathering" on January 26.
Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel and Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will also attend the meeting.
The event will also be attended by the Prime Minister of Hungary, Ferenc Gyurcsany, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Akira Amari, Minister of Foreign Relations of Brazil Celso Amorim, Director General of World Trade Organisation Pascal Lamy, Federal Counsellor of Economic Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard, Trade Commissioner, European Commission, Brussels Peter Mandelson, Minister of Trade of Indonesia Mari Pangestu, and US Trade Representative Susan Schwab.
