Reebok Zooms its Latest Lifestyle and Performance Collection at the Glam Awards 2008

Reebok India, world's leading sports brand launched its lifestyle and performance collection on January 08, 2008 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Mumbai where the 'who's who' of glamour industry witnessed the evening's much awaited fashion presentation and the launch of the first-ever Reebok Zoom-Glam Awards Coffee Table Book.

The fashion show saw many of leading models like Zulfi of Mr India fame, Priyanka Shah, Miss Tourism 2008 and other well known models walk the ramp in Reebok's latest gear. The fashion show theme was 'A day with Reebok' and showcased Reebok products as befitting all parts of the day making it very clear that here's a brand that fits you and the way you live. Be it a morning jog, a casual hangout with friends or a happening evening party; Reebok gives you the option of looking stylish and feeling comfortable at the same time. The same platform was used to showcase various product technologies that Reebok has and the way they have incorporated the same in their lifestyle products. The sports gear comprised of high-performance play dry apparel. The day wear line was casual and relaxed clothing comprising of the MS Dhoni signature collection of Denims. The evening and party wear range comprised of many icon- led collections like the Allen Iverson inspired collection, Scarlett Hearts RBK collection designed by Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson and not to forget the very glamorous Fish Fry range by designer Manish Arora which completed the contemporary and glam look.

Mr. Subhinder Singh Prem, Managing Director, Reebok India said, "Young India is on the move. Youngsters like to express themselves through their professions, what they wear, what they do in their leisure time and more. Reebok aggressively forayed into the lifestyle segment in 2007. It introduced some top-of-the-line exclusive range in apparel, footwear and accessories in association with some very high-profile fashion personalities like Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, famous rap singer Daddy Yankee, the very popular fashion designer Manish Arora, the Chak De girl Sagarika Ghatge and even the latest football-based movie GOAL. Reebok feels it's important to take significant and effective steps in reminding the consumer of the wide choices that they offer.

Reebok Zoom Glam Awards 2007 was therefore, another initiative through which they hope to reinforce the proposition of being present in both on and off the field products and this property also signified Reebok's focus on lifestyle and fashion, a direct derivative of style, determined by its apparel, accessories and footwear collection. The theme of this exclusive coffee table book being Reebok's belief - "there are two people in everyone - paying a tribute to both the professional and the person, the star and the person behind the star", it is a unique attempt to raise a toast to the achievers of 2008 who created a stir in society, not only with their individual work, but also with their personal flamboyance and style.
