The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on agricultural cooperation between India and South Africa.

New Delhi, Feb 7 : The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on agricultural cooperation between India and South Africa.

The MoU will promote bilateral cooperation through joint activities and exchanges in the areas of agriculture, including animals, fisheries, poultry, agricultural extension, land and water management and its conservation; promotion of agricultural trade and investment, agricultural biodiversity management and conservation through exchange of scientific delegations and experts between the two countries.

The MoU will be valid for five years.
