A 17-year-old girl from New South Wales is in a critical condition after being shot in Vrindavan.

Vrindavan, Feb.3 : A 17-year-old girl from New South Wales is in a critical condition after being shot in Vrindavan.

Vrindavan Police said the girl was shot at about 2 a.m. yesterday.The gunman shot himself dead after shooting the girl, who has been identified as Leela.

Consular officials at the Australian High Commission in New Delhi are offering support to the girl and her family is being offered assistance from Canberra.
