Over three hundred thousand visited Mughal Gardens in just one week

Over three hundred thousand of people, including one-and-a-half hundred thousand children visited the magnificent Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan since February 16.

New Delhi, Feb 27 : Over three hundred thousand of people, including one-and-a-half hundred thousand children visited the magnificent Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan since February 16.

History has it that Lutyens designed the surrounding Moghul Gardens at the request of Lady Harding who was captivated by the Mughal Gardens of Kashmir.

The Mughal Gardens in full bloom give visitors a chance to see a riot of colourful flowers in a variety of shapes and sizes.

The Mughal Gardens and other Rashtrapati Bhavan Gardens will remain open for public viewings untill March 28.
