At least six suspected United National Liberation Front (UNLF) insurgents and five others have been killed in two separate incidents in Manipur.
Imphal, Feb 23 : At least six suspected United National Liberation Front (UNLF) insurgents and five others have been killed in two separate incidents in Manipur.
According to officials, five persons were killed by suspected Kuki militants in Senapati district, while the six suspected insurgents were killed in an encounter with the Assam Rifles at a border village in Chandel district.
Sources said that UNLF insurgents were killed when the security personnel raided some suspected areas.
In another incident five persons were shot dead by suspected Kuki militants in interior Saikul village of Senapati district.
