Delhi Police have arrested three persons here for allegedly sending over 100 people to the United States using forged documents.
New Delhi, Feb.23 : Delhi Police have arrested three persons here for allegedly sending over 100 people to the United States using forged documents.
The arrests were made on February 20 following a tip off received near the American Embassy and the Prashant Vihar locality in Delhi, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Satyendra Garg said.
Ajay Shukla, Pawan Mishra and Gursahat Singh were caught by a special team of Delhi Police's Crime Branch, he said.
Shukla allegedly used to charge Rs two to five lakh from clients who wished to travel to the US. He used forged PAN cards, income tax returns and bank statements to procure visas.
His modus operandi was to apply for 10 to 12 visas in the US embassy every month. He managed to procure three to four visas every month, Garg said.
It is one of the three biggest human trafficking racket cracked in the National Capital in the last one year.
