New Delhi, Feb 21 : The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today gave its approval for providing immediate relief to exporters by way of providing interest subvention to mitigate hardships on account of unanticipated and steep rupee appreciation.
The measure will ensure mitigation of the effect of rupee appreciation across the export sectors and will make them internationally competitive and will also enable them to achieve export targets.
