The Mount Abu Police have found a 35-year-old Israeli tourist allegedly murdered in a forest near here.
Mount Abu (Rajasthan), Feb 15 : The Mount Abu Police have found a 35-year-old Israeli tourist allegedly murdered in a forest near here.
Stephen Nick is suspected to have died due to head injury inflicted on him by some miscreants after robbing him.
Nick had arrived at the hill resort on Tuesday. He was staying at Hotel Lake Cottage there. After Nick did not return until late afternoon, the owner of the hotel filed a report with the police.
The police launched a search for the missing tourist, and on a tip-off from a local priest, who saw Nick go towards Valley's Walk, found Nick's body in thick forest on Wednesday, police said.
Although his camera was missing, his mobile phone and sunglasses were found lying close by, and the gold chain, he was wearing, was found intact, police said.
The police are investigating the case.
In recent days, crimes against tourists in Rajasthan have registered an increase. Two women tourists, recently, alleged rape by hotel-owners.
