The Government has appointed C B Bhave as the new Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
New Delhi, Feb 15 : The Government has appointed C B Bhave as the new Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
The appointment of Bhave, who replaces M. Damodaran, would be for a period of three years from the date he assumes office.
Bhave is presently the Chairman and Managing Director of the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL).
