Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief, Mayawati, on Sunday said that her party will consider withdrawal of support to the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre after March 10.
Bhopal, Feb 10 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief, Mayawati, on Sunday said that her party will consider withdrawal of support to the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre after March 10.
Addressing a rally organised by the BSP here, Mayawati said: "We will consider withdrawal of support to the UPA after the Budget session of Uttar Pradesh is over on March 10."
She alleged that the opposition parties were "jealous of BSP's growth" and were raking up "fake" cases against her "to mount political pressure."
"First BJP raised the issue of Taj Corridor and now the Congress-led Government is trying to reopen it," she said.
She also lashed out at the Congress-led UPA for denial of Special Protection Group cover to her "despite intelligence reports" about the threats to her life.
Addressing her party workers, she said: "If I am killed, you should never forgive Congress and take revenge with all your strength."
