Noida, Apr 9 : A 24-year-old woman, hailing from Kerala, was gunned down in the middle of the road in Sector 31 here on Tuesday night.
Shiba Thomas, an employee of Nemesis Solutions and a former Airhostess with Virgin Atlantic, was shot dead by four men on motorcycles after being dragged out of her car following an altercation.
The four have been taken into custody.
In a separate incident, a retired army official, Lt Gen T J S GILL was shot at near Amity Business School here by three men on a motorcycle who allegedly wanted to steal his car.
When Lt. Gen. Gill resisted, they shot him. He was rushed to the Army Research and Referral Hospital and his condition is stable now.
