Kolkata, Apr.5 : Authorities in West Bengal's Nadia District will undertake a chicken culling operation in the Ranaghat area of the district on Sunday.
District Magistrate Onkar Singh Meena said samples of dead chicken from the area have tested positive for the H5N1 virus.
Nadia was among the 16 out of 19 districts in the state affected by bird Flu in January. Nearly 40 lakh chicken were culled till February 5 then.
