Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 30 : President Pratibha Patil will arrive here today on a two-day visit to attend the valedictory function of the golden jubilee celebrations of the Kerala Legislative Assembly.
On Thursday, President will participate in the birth centenary celebration of former state Chief Minister R Sankar at the Tagore Centenary Hall.R Sankar was the third Chief Minister of Kerala during one of the most turbulent periods in the State's political history.
Tight security arrangements have been made in view of her visit.
