Chattisgarh Home Minister Ramvichar Netams son was killed in a car accident on Bhopal-Indore road, according to police.

Bhopal, Apr 27 : Chattisgarh Home Minister Ramvichar Netam's son was killed in a car accident on Bhopal-Indore road, according to police.

Home Minister's son Suraj Netam was going to Indore with three others when the can in which they travelling hit the railings of a bridge near the Sonda river and fell into the dry riverbed.

The residents of a nearby village rescued the severely injured passengers and rushed them to the Sehore district hospital. The injured were then shifted to the Bhopal's Hamidia Hospital.

The minister's son succumbed to head injuries, said police.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has condoled the death of Netam's son.
