Five-year-old girl performs limbo roller skating under a car

Roller-skating under a car may seem impossible, but it is the latest craze among children. Five-year-old Sudrishti, an amazing roller girl, who despite no coaching and guidance, surprised onlookers with her performance.

Ferozepur, Apr 25 : Roller-skating under a car may seem impossible, but it is the latest craze among children. Five-year-old Sudrishti, an amazing roller girl, who despite no coaching and guidance, surprised onlookers with her performance.

Sudrishti has been at this since she was three. But, her father Sanjay Gupta had recognized talent in her and was determined to promote his daughter's uncanny skills.

Though the family lives in Ferozepur, a border city, with modest sports infrastructure and coaching, Sanjay felt that Sudrishti would be a champion roller skater.

"Once we had read of a child skater who was inspired to teach skating to our daughter, and that too, of a unique style, which would be able to gain great recognition the world over. With that in mind, we are providing her training for a year. We taught her different techniques despite being having a proper coach. I even don't know much about the sports, but are determined to provide her enough practice," said Sanjay.

Sudristhi performs 'limbo skating' and speeds along no more than eight inches above the ground.

"I want to be proficient in this sport, so to make my parents and my school proud of me. I need a qualified coach who can train me properly," said Sudristhi.

Sudristhi had a passion for skating right from the day she had learnt it. She dares to perform limbo skating under a car. She is equally competent in her studies.

"She is competent in her studies and always remains a topper. She dances and is an excellent swimmer. She devotes three to four hours for her exercises and skating. We are making every possible effort that in the coming years the country will be proud of her," said Sanjay.

No member of the Gupta family has taken to sports, but Sudristhi is an example for her family to follow. Sudristhi's younger brother, four-year-old Moksh has already followed suit. y Avtar Gill
