Police have found the body of a Norwegian skier on the slopes of a popular ski resort in Kashmir.
Srinagar, Apr 22 : Police have found the body of a Norwegian skier on the slopes of a popular ski resort in Kashmir.
"I have brought this body from Gulmarg. I think she was buried under the snow some three months ago," said Gulam Nabi, an ambulance driver.
Franciska Rogne, 26, was last seen in early January this year, leaving her resort in Gulmarg and heading for the slopes before heavy snowstorms set in.
Gulmarg has been attracting a lot of foreign skiers since a cable car was extended from a resort to a mountaintop in 2005.
Last year, an avalanche killed an Australian skier in the area.
