Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt. General (retired) S K Sinha and Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Aazad greeted the Nation on the occasion of Ramnavami today.
Srinagar, Apr 14 : Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt. General (retired) S K Sinha and Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Aazad greeted the Nation on the occasion of 'Ramnavami' today.
Governor Sinha described the day as one of the special significances for Hindus.
The Chief Minister said, "Festivals have strengthened the bonds of harmony and brotherhood among people and reinforced the pluralistic ethos of the country."
Aazad also felicitated the people on the birth anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar and called upon them to imbibe his teachings to ensure a society based on equality and justice.
"Ambedkar's role in creating awareness among the downtrodden sections of the society will be always remembered," he added.
