Prime Minister meets President Pratibha Patil

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh met President Pratibha Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

New Delhi, Apr 10 : Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh met President Pratibha Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

Both discussed about President Patil's forthcoming state visit to Brazil, Mexico and Chile during the meeting, which lasted for about 25 minutes.

The President will begin her two-week-long tour from Saturday. This will be her first foreign visit since she took office in July 2007.

During her visit, President Patil will meet Brazilian President Lula da Silva, Mexican President Felipe De Jesus Calderon Hinojosa and President Michelle Bachelet of Chile.
