A major fire broke out at Kesali Bridge in Maharashtras Thane District, gutting 18 godowns and damaged goods worth millions.

Thane, Apr 10 : A major fire broke out at Kesali Bridge in Maharashtra's Thane District, gutting 18 godowns and damaged goods worth millions.

The fire occurred around 3:15 a.m..

No human causalities were reported. The exact damage is yet to be ascertained.

Goods like television sets, furniture and money counting machines were burnt in the fire.

Residents said the fire was caused by a short circuit.
