Dharamshala/Siliguri, Apr 1 : Continuing with their protests against alleged Chinese oppression in Lhasa, exiled Tibetan women took out a rally in Dharamshala.

Dressed in black, the protestors expressed their resentment by assembling at the main Buddhist temple in Mcleodganj.

Steering Chayang, a member of the Tibetan Women Association, said black has been adopted as the colour of protest.

Meanwhile, Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, is participating in prayers for peace.

The Tibetan community, including its monks joined the prayers at the main Buddhist temple in Mcleodganj.

"The prayers are bestowed for those suffering people," said Thubten Phelgye, a member of Tibetan parliament-in-exile.
