Udaipur, Sept.7 : At just over three years of age, a Rajasthani girl left her schoolteachers and audience spellbound by passing under a parked bus in an attempt to break the national skating record.

Over 300 people watched Krishna Kunwar Gahlot skate through a 11 inch gap between the ground and the bus during a Limbo skate event.

Krishna took her training under Manjeet Singh who is a national-level skating coach.

Manjeet Singh claimed that Krishna had surpassed the national record set by a four-and-a-half-year-old Indore girl. He claimed to have verified the age of the youngest record holder with other national-level coaches.

He said: "She was enthusiastic regarding doing such kind of skating. It was due to her strong willingness that I made her practise it. And, today, she performed this feat successfully."

Krishna, however, likes to be addressed as "Lieutenant", as she believes this Army rank fills her mind with confidence, dignity and enthusiasm in adventure.

"I want to become Lieutenant and I am a brave girl. I always wanted to skate and today I have done this. I never fear while performing stunt as Lieutenants never cry," said Krishna.

Krishna's family members said they felt that their child had achieved a big dream, and prayed for their daring daughter's further success.

"We never stopped her from doing so. Whenever she used to cry after falling, we used to tell her that a Lieutenant never cries and she used to stop crying instantly. She always wanted to do it," said Dipika Kunwar, Krishna's mother.

Krishna has already got her name registered in the Rajasthan State Records Almanac.
