Former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has said that she is ready to meet President Pervez Musharraf face to face.
Dubai, Sep 5 : Former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has said that she is ready to meet President Pervez Musharraf face to face.
"There has been progress in some areas, and we are working on those areas," she told a news agency.
"I prefer face to face negotiations (but) between himself and myself. I also appreciate that he has got a country to run and that might be very difficult," she said when asked if she would meet Musharraf.
Bhutto said that she would return to Pakistan from self-exile in "weeks, not months" ahead of presidential and parliamentary elections due in coming months.
Benazir said there had been progress in talks on a power-sharing deal with President Musharraf.
