Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh), Sept. 5 : Hundreds of Buddhists from Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan and Korea have congregated here for a three-day discourse on Buddhism by Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.

Dalai Lama is expected to give teachings based on Nagarjuna andamalashila.

Nagarjuna is often referred to as the second Buddha. His writings from the base of the Madhyamaka (Middle Path) School.

Anni Norzom, a Tibetan Buddhist nun described these teachings as very important.

The preachings have been specially organised on the request of the Singapore-based "Ocean of Wisdom" society, which has around 500 followers in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
