New Delhi, Sep 25 : The Delhi High Court today granted two days to Vikas Yadav, the prime accused in the Nitish Katara murder case, to produce four witnesses in the court.
Justice V B Gupta asked Vikas to produce Tanu Chuadhry, separated wife of Ajay Katara, Circle officer of Ghaziabad City, a Jain TV and a Star TV scribe in the court on September 27 and 28.
On September 21, Justice Gupta had reserved the order on Vikas's plea of seeking extension of time to produce defence witnesses before the trial court.
Earlier, the High Court had directed Vikas to conclude the recording of statements of his witnesses by September 20.
The city court trying the Katara case will start hearing final arguments from October six. It has fixed four dates in October -- six, eight, nine and ten -- for hearing the final arguments.
On September 17, the Supreme Court had declined the bail plea of Vikas.
Earlier, Bharati Yadav had also appeared in the court after jumping several summons issued by the court.
