An under trial was killed and four others injured in Patna on Thursday when unidentified men opened fire and hurled bombs at a group of accused inside a court premise.
Patna, Sept 20 : An under trial was killed and four others injured in Patna on Thursday when unidentified men opened fire and hurled bombs at a group of accused inside a court premise.
An under trial, Harbanshram, was killed on the spot, while another accused and three lawyers were injured in the incident.
"Policemen were bringing two accused in the court, when four people came from other side and shot at the accused," said Surendra Kumar, an eyewitness.
"One was dead and other accused injured. Those four people came again and dropped a bomb in which two advocates were injured," he added.
The attackers have managed to escape after the incident.
According to police, old enmity could be the cause of the attack.
