Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today sacked 3,964 police personnel recruited during the previous Mulayam Singh Yadav government in the state.

Lucknow, Sept 18 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today sacked 3,964 police personnel recruited during the previous Mulayam Singh Yadav government in the state.

The BSP government also suspended six senior IPS officers, including two DIGs, on charges of irregularities in selection.
