The Prime Ministers Office (PMO) today said that Manmohan Singh has approved the appointment of a high level committee to coordinate the development of new road links between Delhi and Gurgaon.
New Delhi, Sept 17 : The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) today said that Manmohan Singh has approved the appointment of a high level committee to coordinate the development of new road links between Delhi and Gurgaon.
The committee, which will be chaired by the Member Secretary of the Planning Commission, will have four other members, the PMO said in a statement.
The committee will facilitate development and establishment of new road links between Delhi and Gurgaon. It will be free to co-opt other secretaries as and when necessary.
Its members will be Secretary, Department of Road Transport and Highways, Secretary, Finance Ministry, Chief Secretary, Delhi Government, and Chief Secretary, Haryana Government.
